Our Staff

Pastor Abraham Chase is the lead teaching pastor of Shepherd’s Gate Bible Church. He is receiving his MDiv from Southern Seminary this December. He has moved with his wife, Taylor, and kids from Los Angeles, California, to serve as a pastor in San Antonio. He and Taylor are dedicated to helping reform the churches and getting family worship back into the home. They are assertive in fighting the culture war against the family and are striving to see parents leading their children in the Lord. Abraham and Taylor are committed to “All of Bible for all of life.” Colossians 3:17.

Matt Ramos is a deacon at Shepherd’s Gate and is dedicated to serving the body of Christ. His heart is to see the preaching of the word to lead the flock correctly in the Church and in the home. He also happens to be a really good skateboarder. His wife, Amberlea, is our children’s director. She is passionate about children being taught in the beautiful truths of Christ and His perfect work. She wants to see the children grow up in the armor of God and be protected from the attack of the enemy and the culture. She strives to see the church live by what Jesus said to the people, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14. Amberlea loves the outdoors and playing Pokémon with Matt.

Leah runs our Social Media online. She is passionate about others hearing the Gospel truth and receiving biblical teaching in a fallen world. She and Daniel are Newlyweds and enjoying life together. Leah is also a talented baker, and her husband, Daniel, is a wonderful mechanic and has a passion for cars.
